ICSU and IMF degrade Taiwan as a province of China
The former president of Academia Sinica has been from Taipei, China from the mention institution. I know the goal China gov wants to achieve is never change.
But seems most Taiwanese don't know and do believe China would release "good will" to Taiwan since the 2008 election in ROC elected the one they China gov like.
I don't know how many Taiwanese youngers can be great in the future under the ruling system of China--a place can't ask "why" esp., in the field of art and mind. And now, the fool gov wants to depend everything on China without thinking the consequences.
Maybe these scientists don't care where they are from and only care who or what institution could support them to study more research...similar situation to those who ask not to be hungry.
I think that's why this land is always ruled by other countries or sovereignty.
Do our people have chances to change this fate?
