很喜歡魔戒現身中片頭部份，凱特布蘭琪用著精靈女王的口吻在述敘戒指由來以及elf，people of middle earth與sauron之間的戰爭。特別是上面寫下來紅字的部份。
這其實很有黑格爾的味道--人類從歷史中得到的教訓是，人類沒有從歷史中得到教訓！--有誰會相信myth曾是history呢？不過中國人比較喜歡『天下大勢合久必分，分久必合』這種方式來阿Q一下，但是就我看來，這種在同一塊土地上的分分合合，不也表示了因為居住在其上的人沒有記取歷史教訓，所以不斷重覆相同的歷史，差別不過在於所分配到的名號不一樣罷了…
不過話說回來如果當執政者連歷史都杜撰一個給人民時，人民又能從那樣的歷史中，學到什麼樣的教訓呢？
